Because

“A real friend is someone who takes a winter vacation on a sun-drenched beach and does not send a card.”

--Farmer’s Almanac

Not going to lie the hardest thing about leaving Hawaii (besides my family) are the beautiful beaches.
Having Le'i at the beach is the easiest way to entertain him. We can spend hours! Yes hours. He is part fish.  He loves swimming and playing in the sand.  We cry when we leave.  HAHA to be four again  right!
The other day when speaking to Le'i about Sweden he said he could not wait to get to Sweden to see the snow. I then informed him that there wouldn't be snow when we arrived.  He looked at me like I was crazy and said I only want to go if there is snow all the time.  I looked and said you will be very happy in the snow, but trust me you will be very happy when you don't have to put on 50 layers of clothes to go play outside.  Le'i still looking totally confused and upset there is no snow year round.
Oh Swedish winter please be nice to us!
If you know me I am a warm blooded baby.  This is my biggest fear moving to Sweden.  I have never really been in snow, until Stefan's brother got married last year.  It wasn't even that cold they say. Plus I stayed inside the whole time (to my credit we didn't really have all the proper snow wear).
I have been one spoiled girl when it comes to weather.  I tell ya!  I have never not had a tan line.
When we get there I will tell you how I do. I am praying I just fall in love with snowboarding, skiing, or maybe I will just pick up reading by the fire.  :)

We will miss you Hawaii, you will always be home.
It is to hard to stay of way from this beautiful place.
